Nurturing Minds Psychologists is the data controller responsible for the processing of
personal data in accordance with:
• General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR)
• Dutch Implementation Act (UAVG)
• Dutch Medical Treatment Agreement Act (WGBO)
• Applicable professional confidentiality obligations

As a licensed healthcare psychologist (GZ-psycholoog BIG registered), professional
confidentiality applies to all clinical information. Personal data are treated with strict medical
confidentiality in accordance with Dutch healthcare law.

• Contact requests that do not result in treatment are retained only as long as necessary
for follow-up.
• Clinical records are retained for 20 years in accordance with the WGBO, unless a
longer retention period is legally required.

6. Data Sharing
Personal data are not sold or shared for marketing purposes.
Data may be shared only:
• With authorized service providers acting as data processors (e.g., Wix, Webex,
electronic patient record system) under GDPR-compliant agreements.
• When legally required by law or professional obligation.
Only professionals directly involved in care delivery may access relevant information.

7. International Data Transfers
Where service providers process data outside the European Economic Area, appropriate
safeguards are implemented in accordance with Chapter V GDPR.

The website uses only essential cookies necessary for its proper functioning. No profiling or
